November 17, 2010 — The Light Brigade announces upcoming 2011 course locations for its new two-day Certified Fiber-to-the-Home Professional (CFHP) program, the only curriculum and examination program specifically designed to determine and certify professional competence in FTTH design, architectures, deployment and administration technologies.

In addition to these dates, this course will also be held in conjunction with each of the FTTH Council's 2011 quarterly meetings.
This two day course addresses job training skills for those who are interested in making the jump from legacy technologies to the FTTH technologies of today and the future. Whether or not you have optical fiber or FTTH experience, this course will provide the knowledge and skills required for managing, designing or planning FTTH networks.
Following the course, an online certification exam will be conducted on the FTTH Council's website. Those who successfully demonstrate their knowledge with a passing percentage of 80% or greater will achieve the CFHP designation and receive a three-year certification diploma. The CFHP certification is maintained by the FTTH Council.
