Instructor, Todd Russell
Todd Russel has been in the communications industry for over 33 years, working for New England Telephone, NYNEX, Bell Atlantic, and Verizon. He has converted analog offices to digital, wired and tested high-speed long-distant toll circuits, and installed, spliced, and tested fiber optic rings. During his career, he has provided cable restoration during every major storm in the North East and spent three months at ground zero after September 11, 2001.
Taking pride in the quality of your work is paramount to Todd and as a project manager for a FIOS construction team, he was awarded a patent for a fiber optic test method and device (TR24). He earned an associate degree in computer information technology from Southern New Hampshire University and has his Fiber Optic Installer certification from the ETA.
When Todd is not riding one of his Harley Davidsons or collecting muscle cars, he enjoys spoiling his three grand-babies – rotten! Buying, restoring, and selling old houses is another favorite pastime. He is also old school when it comes to his pizza topping – pepperoni and favorite tech movie – Star Trek.
