Light Brigade Announces a New Data Center Fiber Optic Technician Course
Kent, WA – September 3, 2024 – Light Brigade, the leader in fiber optic skills training announces the launch of the all-new Data Center Fiber Optic Technician course.
This foundational level instructor-led course is comprised of two-days of theory, followed by two-days of practical hands-on labs covering fiber and twisted pair copper cabling and connectivity. This is a comprehensive Layer 1 training course that is essential for data center technicians, designers, and operations personnel. Completing the prerequisite Fiber Foundations online short course will prepare learners to enter this class with a basic understanding of fiber optic principles.
The course covers the fundamentals of fiber optic and twisted pair copper communication, installation techniques, testing, and maintenance, with a focus on practical applications and industry best practices. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to ensure they are prepared to address the challenges and opportunities presented in modern data centers.
Areas of focus include splicing, connectorizing, testing, and troubleshooting optical fiber networks to increase efficiency, reliability, and on-the-job safety as well as reduce costs and downtime. Additionally, special attention is given to inside and outside plant cable management and installation, data center cabling architectures, maintenance, safety best practices, and an introduction to copper cabling termination and testing.
Learners that complete this course will earn Credly digital badges for course completion as well as be eligible to sit for the ETA Fiber Optic Installer (FOI) or Fiber Optic Technician Inside Plant (FOT-ISP) credential exam.
This course is the latest release in the broad Light Brigade fiber optic hands-on skills training portfolio. Other courses include focus areas of general fiber optics, broadband/FTTH, outside plant, oil and gas, mining, harsh environment, wireless, utilities, and air blown fiber, as well as intermediate and advanced level courses and workshops for technicians. Light Brigade also offers professional level courses in design and other advanced fiber optic related topics. Courses are offered as open enrollment at a pre-scheduled offering around the U.S., or as a custom private class at your location.

I wouldn't choose a template from the word "Juniper" alone. The exact vehicle label still matters, particularly when different trims are listed separately. My Model Y Juniper template notes focus on that selection step before getting into artwork. If the panels look wrong after export, I'd compare the variant and template first instead of immediately moving every graphic around to compensate for a possibly incorrect starting file.
I had a reference shot from a show car and no idea how to sample it cleanly. Turning that photo into a wrap took one upload and a short description, and the colours were close enough to keep editing rather than start over.
I appreciate the way this article organizes its information and explains the main points. The content feels relevant, and the writing is easy to understand. It provides a convenient way for readers to become familiar with the subject.
