ETA® International Fiber Optics Installer (FOI) Certification
 
This examination is to be attempted by professional individuals trained in the practice of installing, troubleshooting, splicing and repairing fiber optic transmission cable and connection devices.
 
The prerequisite for attempting this exam is the completion of a fiber optics training course at an ETA® International approved fiber optics training school always using the latest fiber optic standard revision.
 
The ETA® International certification may be displayed as an acknowledgement of the examinee's familiarization and understanding of the hardware and theory of operation of this technology medium.
